A cobweb

Not up and about quite so early today but still enjoyed a morning coffee in garden, there must have been some rain overnight as the plants were a little damp, I noticed this cobweb with raindrops on it so got my camera and took a couple snaps, they didn't really come out as well as I had hoped, but here's one anyway.

Later in the day a massive dark cloud came over and the "heavens opened", there was a massive downpour of rain just after lunchtime which included hail! Yes, unbelievably at the end of July we had a hailstorm!

It was mum's birthday today so we went out to The Falls of Feugh for high tea, a nice enough meal at a little tea room type restaurant near Banchory, just beside the tearoom is a bridge over the Water of Feugh, it was a little drizzly but we did take a few minutes to admire the falls from the bridge where we saw a number of salmon jumping up the falls, a lovely location and worth a visit if you're in the area.
