Weald and Downland Open Air Museum
I had the whole day to spare before catching the ferry back home so spent the time at the Weald & Dowland Museum where there is a fascinating collection of over 50 rescued historic buildings.
All the buildings have been painstakingly assembled over the 40 acre site, some dating from the middle ages, including recreated interiors and period gardens and give a wonderful insight about how our rural ancestors lived and worked.
More pics in the extras. I see I have only 35 extras left, anyone know when they are re-set to the original 100?
