Branded eggs
Is there any reason that "branded" eggs would be any better than just plain old eggs from the supermarket? Sounds like pure marketing BS to me.
After all, these eggs were TWICE the price of similar sized eggs.
I purchased mine because they were 50% off the regular price because the expiration date of August 4, 2012. The "regular" price was TWICE the price of plain old regular eggs of the same size and grade! Eggs last a LONG time under refrigeration! Go figure.
In this particular case, eggs from Safeway Stores, a very large grocery chain in the US.
I can easily see this trend growing. A "branded" egg is "better" than a regular egg? What exactly is a "regular" egg? Nothing like marketing folks to keep consumers on their toes :)
