Manifold in HDR

This is (part of) the compressed air manifold at unit EC20.
The green colored vessels are meant for storage.
For maintenance and inspection they are equipped with valves which can separate them from the system.
At left: two vessels, originally meant for instrumentation air, the vessel in the back was originally for "working" air, to drive i.e. pneumatic grinders in the workshop. A couple of years ago the complete system was combined.
A modern power plant cannot operate without compressed air. A lot of valves are air operated, also in safety systems.
Now: the system has come to a standstill.
Time to make some pictures in HDR.
