Messing About with Macro

Phew! I think I've finally got to the end of a week of back blips.  This is a macro exercise for A Year With My Camera.  As I didn't post on Tuesday or Thursday it would probably also do for Tiny Tuesday and Abstract Thursday.  It's certainly ok for Flower Friday - multi tasking!

Poppies always remind me of the transitory nature of life, particularly when there are unhappy news items.  The poppies I had wanted to photograph had shed their petals before I got to them.  I only just managed this one before it came to pieces.
