Curly c

I came across this little curving caterpillar connected to a grass stalk.  It was a little conspicuous so I captured a photo and carefully covered it with a little more camouflage.  I think it might be changing into a chrysalis.

Could become a peacock butterfly if she clings on but I'm not completely confident of its classification.
