Hedge Pigs

Here we have two of our regular hedgehogs arguing over the food we left out for them.
 
I have featured the trail cam a few times, and have been asked about the fruits of our exploits, so here is a taster.
 
These are IR night shots so the quality is not that great, even if they are technically HD (1920 x 1080).
 
I have linked to three of the 15 second video clips (joined  together) that we got last night.  We have the Trail Cam set to take one photo then one 15 second video clip with a 30 second gap between triggers.  Mrs W has made a feature length film of the nights visit (well 5 minutes worth anyway).
 
This is a sample of the best shots since we started – so many fine adjustments and a minimum of a day between each experiment.  I have now found the ‘flash level’ control for the IR stills.  You will notice that the video adjusts itself.
