We decided to cut the grass today, and we lowered the blade of the lawnmower to try and deal with some of our moss.  This was a bad idea, as the blunt lawnmower blade decided it didn't like being pushed through moss and the motor got very upset.  After the puff of smoke we decided we'd better turn it off and go buy a new one...
