Hard at work

We started at 9.15 am and finished at 9 pm. We did break for meals, and at one stage I found time for a quick walk down to the lake, but it was a long day.
We spent the morning getting our designs on silk, not as straightforward as it sounds. Our tutor Mary Day was excellent, guiding us through the intricate procedures. By mid afternoon we were at last ready to embellish our silk pictures with embroidery. We haven't got very far, and just have tomorrow morning to get a bit more done before taking them home to complete.
After doubts to start with I am pleased with my creation, and maybe I will share it with you tomorrow.
