Lion

An enjoyable blipmeet today with fellow blippers June Fox, Neil Jackson, and Steve Oldfield, together with Terry who described himself as not yet a blipper (so there's hope!).

Many thanks to June for initiating our trip to Whipsnade Zoo.  We spent a very full day there and saw most of the animals. 

The prize for entertainment value has to go to the otters, who performed for a small crowd, squeaking, leaping, rolling over each other and swimming under a little bridge.  However, for my blip I had to choose this photograph of the splendid male lion who woke up from his slumbers and briefly wandered over for a drink before returning to his harem - just enough to give me this photo opportunity.
