Galloway goodbye

All good things come to an end.
But on the (long) way home we stopped off here at Carsluith Castle - now home to an excellent smokery, deli and cafe.
And then we made a significant detour to see friends Mac and Joyce who would have been away with us but for a serious set back with a hip replacement operation. All things considered she's looking very good but crikey has she been put through the mill.
Another 3 hours on the road before we made it home. Good to be back.
