Visiting the Museum of Edinburgh
The Edinburgh Museum in Canongate, Royal Mile, Edinburgh has a new exhibit - a visual display showing history of the development of the city from the time when the land was formed, through to the planning of the city's expansion into the New Town of Edinburgh in the late 1700s, and beyond. It was an honour to be invited to see it this morning, and to be reminded of the many other exhibits which this city Museum has on show.
As Craigwell Cottage is just a few minutes away, and the Museum of Edinburgh is featured in our 'things to do on a rainy day' list, I was really glad to have the opportunity to go along to see the new exhibit, and it led to a further blog post about the Museum of Edinburgh too.
