So Long Trees

This is a less than exciting blip, but significant for me, as it's the last day these conifers will exist.

Tomorrow the electricity company will remove eleven trees, which they say are a fire hazard.
They border the street and are apparently too close to the wires.
The alternative is to cut them so low that some would have no vegetation at all, and this, I think, would look even worse.
They keep telling me that there'll be so much more sun and don't understand when I don't get excited at that prospect as more sun means more work

A couple of years ago I burst into tears, and that seemed to work quite well, but I've given up now.
