Iron Horse

Nothing photographed today, so I grabbed this before I started my afternoon training (I hadn't yet taken off my glasses, even).

This is a section of a kata named Tekki Shodan (tekki translates as iron horse; shodan is simply 'first level' - i.e. the first of the the Tekki kata). I'm spending quite a bit of time and thought on this bit at the moment, examining how much I can move the hips leading into this strike - without destroying the stability of the stance.
