ace weather in edinburgh. I started to feel better by lunchtime thank god. we walked around the royal mile then had lunch in the grassmarket - fried halloumi and chips - fine! then on to princes street then down to the gardens to loll about. hoaching!

walked for miles. we were knackered at night and ended up watching and episode of taggart on gillian's wee telly....wishing we had remembered to take a couple of dvds haha.

then we watched the news - blanket coverage of the new prime minister was like a tory party political broadcast for 2 hours. no opposition comment or anything. disgraceful. what a mess.
