That Winning Feeling

Today was the Greenock & District Inverclyde Young Bowler Competition today at Gourock Park Bowling Club. Sadly the weather was pretty grim, wind and rain most of the day. Fraser was totally undaunted, he was the runner up last year losing in a close final. This year he cruised through his group winning four out of five games before dominating his semi-final winning 9 - 1.

The final was a close run thing the final score being 5 - 4 but to be honest Fraser was the better player by a long way. Here we see him outside the club with his trophy after being presented with it by the Greenock and District President Stuart Munro. He was exceptionally good today.

Mimi too played very well and missed out on the semi-final by a couple of shots having been in the other half of the draw, ironically beating the player Fraser dominated in the semi, a great day out for them both.
