Jam!

I would have uploaded this yesterday but the blipfoto phone app has been a bit temperamental for the past few days and wouldn't let me upload last night (and I was in bed at this point and didn't want to get out to find my laptop). It is surprising how long it takes to make jam - picking fruit, preparing fruit, washing and sterilising jam jars, weighing ingredients, making the jam and (the most time consuming job) cleaning up jam after cooking (which gets everywhere and is very sticky). It's worth it though! Both batch 1 and 3 of the raspberry went really well, and my only strawberry batch is pretty good too! I'm glad that I made it home to do this - I really missed making jam last year!
