Duck race

Upton 2nd Annual Duck Race.

It's fair to say it was the right day for it. The visiting cricket team started proceedings with their chosen duck deciding batting line up. Quite splendid really. Then down to the nitty gritty of heats with each of the five of us (Hobbes & Poppy) having ducks run, as it were. Only Karen's came through to the grand final. I say came through... Truth be known we never actually saw number 461 show his bill but much wine & gin had been consumed so it's possible we missed him.

Much work in the garden today meaning tomorrow might see me fall over when I get out of bed!
