Rain approaching

in Vieremä, 500+ kilometers north from Helsinki. This is the heart of the countryside in Finland. I don't think it can get country'er than this. Hopefully tomorrow I can see some lehmäs (cows).

So another roadtrip today. It was nice seeing Niklas over the weekend. He returned to his army training this evening and after lunch we headed up north. Very beautiful landscapes on the way. You can see some more in Insta.

It's been raining on and off the whole roadtrip. And as we took the dogs for their evening walk we had to stay close as it looked like it could come pouring down. And it did. I managed to take few pics on our 7 minute walk.

Heat waves (yes, two of them) are approaching Finland. So the weather is supposed to get a lot better towards the end of the week. Even Lapland has promises of 25°C and sunshine, so we might continue our road trip even norther. 

This evening we had our first sauna in 8,5 months! Boy was it good! 

Dogs snoring once again. We should be doing that too. It's been a long day.
