Kinder Scout from Kinder Reservoir

After the damp and dreary weather of the past few weeks (or months!) it was lovely to see the sunshine this morning.  We were down in Hayfield visiting John's brother and family so took advantage of the day and had a beautiful stroll onto the moor, and round past Kinder Reservoir back into the village.  Where it would have been very rude to walk past the pub without stopping for a little refreshment. 

In extras, a couple of the well-dressing displays in the area.  The historic water sources of the parish are blessed, and have a display made of flowers and other material pressed onto a clay covered board each year.
