The coolest place

Probably best not to look too closely at Bailey in all his glory but an appropriate blip for what has been a very warm day - and the remainder of Term 6 to follow suit. Bailey has spent a proportion of the day sunning himself but the majority of it cooling down and sleeping or both as shown in what is the only shot that I have taken today. 

He barked in time to the boiler this morning but I managed to get up, down three flights of stairs, put him out in the garden and head back to bed without really properly waking up. A fairly lengthy lie-in but we were walking before half nine and before it got too warm. Home to jobs including cleaning the kitchen and eventually doing the ironing, although not until much later in the day. 

The bestest friend joined us for our pre-tea walk. Well, we walked and Bailey moved from one lying down spot to the next. A bottle of water and various coaching methods were applied and we did get home eventually. And then very little done this evening in preparation for the last three days of this academic year. No teaching, Sports Day, whole school assembly and a charity afternoon should all make it go fairly speedily, I reckon.
