Puppy Party

We took Buddy to a 'puppy party' today to meet with some fellow puppies under the expert guidance of Gretta, whose dog training classes we will be starting on Tuesday. It's all part of the socialisation process, which is so important for dogs between 12 and 16 weeks of age. It went pretty well. The big labrador puppy seemed initially a bit scary to Buddy, but he grew in confidence as the session went on. Buddy and a gorgeous minature poodle (girl) named Esme seemed very smitten with each other by the end. Less whimsical were the bum sniffing parades (pictured) and the various deposits left on the village hall floor by a number of over excited puppies, Buddy included.
