Happy Birthday Big Tom

Love this photo - don't actually think I had seen this up until sorting by through all his things. 93 today he would have been. I feel bad that I don't really get upset about him passing - in my mind it came at the right time for him - before he really started to suffer and stop enjoying life. He had an amazing innings and even talked about the war with somewhat fond memories. He was just the loveliest man on earth and very proud that he was my Grandad. Hoping that they are all reunited in some sort of afterlife/ heaven type place but my beliefs in things like that are quite sceptical!
