Skiing on top of the world

I love that feeling, of skiing on top of the world. This particular part of the world is Mt Cardrona, outside of Wanaka, and overlooking Queenstown.

I saw this sign and felt compelled to take a photo, as instructed.

It was a great day of skiing with good snow, happy kids and beautiful weather until close to the end of the afternoon, when the wind really picked up.

The kids enrolled in an afternoon lesson and they all came back, buzzing with new tales to share.
