With a wing and a prayer

It was a wild, windy day here in Ayr and I was really struggling not to blow away taking this picture! The sand was being whipped up and thrown everywhere so I didn't want to go closer. My eyes were streaming as it was. I don't think the fishermen were having such trouble.

There are no shortage of either seagulls or people enjoying the great outdoors here in Ayr, no matter what the weather is doing. The island you can see to the left is Arran which is where I went the next day.

Now the track! One of my favourites from the only album from BBM - Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker and Gary Moore. I went to see them at Brixton Academy years ago. The concert was great, with everyone leaping up and down. A friend called Simon I haven't seen for a few years drove a few of us down there in his little cleaning company van. You couldn't sit up straight in there and I remember getting out looking like Quasimodo when we arrived, all hunchbacked and crooked necked!

There are wings on the album cover too so I can just about get away with this!
