Finished! Well, I have one drawer to 'repack' but otherwise I'm done. :) I'm happy with the result. :) I used a 'chalk paint' for the drawers and I'm now thinking of a colour for the chest itself. Perhaps a darker blue, dark red or even a darker purple to match a pillow I have in the hallway, were the chest is standing. We'll see... :)
I was lucky that my dad pre-drilled holes to screw the old knobs in place. The holes were a bit too small and one of the screws was very difficult to remove, but otherwise it went rather smoothly. :)
