On the top

We were on tour again, back to Munich to start to sort out my parents home.  Because there were long traffic jams on the highways we decided to go via the secondary roads. You can see such funny things if you leave the highways, but it is not easy unpossible to blip out of a driving car.
We saw this enormous monkey an the top of the roof of an experimental shop. No, I have no idea what an experimental shop is and what  the meaning of this figure should be. Perhaps it is a monument for the management????
