German Sweet Cherries. Delicious ..

It's strawberry time and cherry season . Local strawberries are wonderful and all over the city are strawberry shaped booths selling  fruit , juice , jam the lot .Yet my favourite seasonal local indulgence  has to be cherries .There are  sweet and also sour. I find  both  rather wonderful .This pile is my treat for much later ....Just in case you are wondering there was no sparrow having a peck and each one of these is perfect .What a colour ...Like rich jewels .I enjoy summer for these local delights . Imported or out of season fruit is not the same .
