On reflection

In Rouen. Potentially an extremely  nice town but actually only quite nice. Staying a night in a docklands area hotel by the Seine. They're doing up the waterfront and turning it into a docklands. Except they are going mighty slowly and its still a bit tatty. 

And there's the ubiquitous dogs' doo all over the pavements - which makes pottering along and staring up at old buildings a bit risky.

And another thing. Graffiti is applied to everything. Actually its fairly amazing that this mirror in the park has only got one tag on it. Perhaps its only been there for a couple of days.

Still, the actual old centre is super. So that's my Blip ending on an upbeat note. Before you think I am being a miserable moaner*.


* Although those who know me say that is exactly what I am.
