The Beach

After four days in the cool, wet weather of inland Mexico it is good to remind ourselves as to why we choose to live here on the hot, humid coast. While it is great to visit cities with culture and fine restaurants, there is nothing there that compares to an early morning paddle on the warm, turquoise waters of our tranquil bay. It is easy to lose track of the stunning natural beauty of our home when treated to views such as this on a daily basis. Going away, for even a short while, rekindles the joy of seeing sights like this whenever I venture onto Zihuatanejo Bay.
