The Vat Run

It was our staff awayday today and we headed to a fab piece of community woodland at Port Edgar in South Queensferry called the Vat Run ( there used to be whisky stored there!).

Fab spot bring brilliantly brought back to biodiverse life after years of neglect by teams of volunteers and trainees, supported by local council superhero Euan.

The team learnt how to make fires, created tree art and toasted marshmallows - a fine day indeed!

The site stretches underneath the Forth Rail Bridge - offering a pretty unique view across the Forth.
