The perfect little paw

Super busy at work today. Still trying to catch up on end of month tasks (despite it now being the beginning of the month) and this week we have two bear health checks (which are always performed under GA). Both our bears this week are a little on the smaller side. They look young but its hard to tell because some of our bears have been kept in such tiny cramped cages all their lives on very poor diets that their growth is stunted.

Today it was Miki on the table. As lab nurse for this week I spent most of the GA in the lab running blood tests but managed to get back into the surgery room just in time to do her paw prints - one of the more enjoyable jobs that I have :) Although can be quite tricky to get a decent print with all five toes and no paint smudging across the page. She has the most perfect little paws for painting!
