Babies!

It's been SO hot today!

I gave Maisie the briefest of walks this morning, so thought she'd welcome a trip to the Post Office. Far from it! She reluctantly stepped outside, then flopped over in her inelegant way and refused to take another step! (Extra photos)

I set up the new paddling pool for her and although it's identical to the one she enjoys at day school, she wouldn't go in it.

My blip is a grey partridge with thirteen babies. Grey partridges are red status birds, so it's good to see at least *one* family flourishing!
