Stayed with brother in law and his wife last night. New house with something I'd not seen befor. An electric fire with imitating coals. Once the lights warmed up they heated a water tank which emitted vapour which gave the effect of smoke. Whatever next. Though it did look effective.

A better journey northwith traffic flowing more freely. Shane to be cooped up on a hot and mostly sunny day but good to have completed the 1,000 mile runs trip safely. Saw one or two nasty accidents.

We stooped off at Johnstonbridge service station for the first time. Place was heaving: but had a good seating area outside with parkland and picnic areas to enjoy. See extra for the view.
