The pond

When I was posting my photo yesterday, I realised I hadn't posted a picture of the pond since the vegetation became quite rampant.

So that was an obvious choice for tonight.  But I had to wait till quite late, as the sun was so bright it was creating deep shadows.

There were many damsel flies around the pond, and also many butterflies in the meadow.

There's quite a lot of blanket weed in the pond - I think we need to have a clear out with the rake.  And if it doesn't rain in the next few days, we will need to add water.
