Satiated

Spent the day in town with Robin (she’s been in London for a friend’s wedding).  Lordy but it was hot with a beautiful blue and cloudless sky. Conversation of course revolved around events in Istanbul and what this will mean for us. Activities included both National Portrait and National galleries and a quick burst of Bach in St Martin-in-the-fields. Refreshment included pub lunch, tea in the Crypt and dinner in an Italian near Covent Garden. It was good to get out and it was good to talk.  We parted feeling a little calmer, if not happier, and of course, with the internal culture vulture fully satiated.
