PIP
My sister has MS and has had Disability Living Allowance for 7 years now. Some days she struggles to get out of bed, other days are better. As if there's not enough stress around, today she had to go for her assessment for the new PIP. Getting her to sit in this enormous chair at the assessment centre was my attempt at reducing the angst a little...

2. What you’ll get
Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is usually paid every 4 weeks. It’s tax free and you can get it whether you’re in or out of work.
It’s made up of 2 components (parts). Whether you get one or both of these depends on how your condition affects you.
