Daisy Shadows

Shadows don't always spell gloom and doom,
but remind us bright light lies behind them.

Shady daisies keep cool in a vase
where the brilliant sun won't blind them.

It's thirty degrees and the garden birds
cool off in the pool - too many for words.

I dip in and out, from sun to shade.
It's for days like this ice-cream was made.

I could have posted another dozen or so garden birds. They keep returning to the pond, so many different breeds and all with their new broods - whole families bathing together. But I don't want to become too repetitive, so I give you daisies.

Weather has been amazing today. Just wonderful.
