on Windermere

Today was forecast to be the hottest of the year so I had two plans depending on what time I woke up. One was to get out early and climb high, the other was to go on the lake. You can see which I did but unfortunately there was no cooling breeze. It seems that everyone had the same idea .......... the queues were long and the boats packed. 

Because my husband dropped me off in Windermere so I could walk to Bowness and do a one way trip I've let him pick the blip. Not the one I would have chosen but I've quickly put together a flickr album for anyone who would like to view the others.
