Highest temperature in July on record in Guernsey

Phew it's been hot, even inside our lounge which is normally beautifully cool in summer. Salad for lunch, Salad for tea. Fabulous swim in the sea in between.
Eithan came for lunch today, he loves tomatoes in fact after he ate more than his fair share I had to hide them. We offered him this massive BeefSteak tomato but he didn't know what to do with it it was too heavy. Then we stripped Eithan off and he was happier. Then we had Strawberries but greedy boy wanted more than his share.
