Hot for Helena

It was Poppy's school play today and she played Helena in A midsummer Night's Dream. On the hottest day of the year I found myself sweating my bits off in the school hall even though I managed to sit next to a fan which helped a bit until there was a power cut.. Not that it wasn't worth it; they are a talented bunch of young people and did a fantastic job. 
D is there tonight before he goes to band practice so a sweaty night ahead for him.
I'm afraid my blips this week are going to be a bit Poppy-centric but it is her last week at Primary School (as well as her birthday week) so it really is 'all about her'.
