I spent the morning looking for wildflowers and butterflies. I started at the small Cape Cod Natural History Museum in the next town because I had heard they had planted a butterfly garden. I wasn't disappointed, although there were more people around than I'm used to. It's a popular children's summer camp, as well as tourist attraction. I was probably the only one there without three small children. Then I wandered down to Quivet Neck Creek which has a lovely field full of Black-eyed Susans. That's where I found this Pearl Crescent Butterfly.
