A wet day at Loweswater
Tried to beat the weather coming into the Lakes today by heading north west to Loweswater, a beautiful small lake that often misses the worst of the weather (as the clouds only get pushed up over the fells after they have passed Loweswater by) but didn't escape completely.
The first part of the day, as we walked towards Holme wood, was pretty dry, and we even got a few glimpses of blue sky, but by the time we reached the wood, the showers had set in. Didn't dampen our fervour though - and we had a pretty successful day's photography up until about 2.45, when it really came on hard.
Spent the latter part of the afternoon covering a few PhotoShop queries. All in all, a good day.
Just notices Missymoos August challenge - outside - it fits!
