Re-United

After all this time!. This is the lens we bought second hand (from a reputable dealer) which shortly after we had started using it started to give us some faults. I took a close look and noticed that the data cable had started to disintegrate. It looked like it had not been used for a long time and where the cable touched itself it had perished and with continued use the gold on the film started to fall away. Thankfully it was still under warranty and we were able to get it repaired for free. It just goes to show it is worth buying second hand lenses from a camera shop.

Now I just have to use it.
