Summertime

The promised light and sound show arrived just before dawn this morning. We were awakened by a tremendous thunderclap around 04.30h. This was the view from our bedroom window. The rain was lashing down, the clouds were at roof-top height and the whole scene was diffusely illuminated by the rising sun. I failed miserably to catch the accompanying lightning strikes. It was all very impressive!
