Huh?

Yesterday I had to fill up the washer bottle because, typical Ford, there was a warning light on the dash because the bottle level was low. It's the first time I've opened the bonnet so I did the usual blind groping to find the lever. When that didn't work I knelt on the ground so that I could fully inspect the footwell and still no joy. I grabbed my phone and did a quick search and thought I'd found an April's Fool website but no..... To open the bonnet I need to pull out the logo on the grille and then use the ignition key. How much crazy is this?

Busy day brightened by watching a wren feeding her chicks in a recess above the kitchen window. Because of the porch roof I can't see into the nest but every now and again I catch a glimpse of the little heads and beaks poking out ready for the next feast.
