Azure Damselfly

Another scorcher, so another walk through Gunnersbury Triangle to get some shade.

At one of the little ponds there were quite a few damselflies flitting around, being the middle of the day they were very busy and active, so much harder to capture. Lying down on the boardwalk to get closer enabled me to get close enough to get a few decent shots.

On the way home my 12 carriage air-conditioned train was cancelled, the next service was a 4 carriage non air-conditioned one, so not a pleasant journey home.
