BEFORE...

So we got this Gibson SG which had had its headstock re-glued some time ago... The old cracks had re-opened.

Decided on overkill - got CC to rout out two slots a deep as he dared either side of the truss rod. CC drives my router better than I do! Then I fitted super snug maple inserts (AFTER extra). Maple, cut right, is way tougher than Mahogany - OK?

All repairs will disappear after varnish next week :o)
