Hastings

We visited nearby Hastings today and this shows an old boat and anchor and some of the fishermen's net sheds. Built in the early 1800's they were made to store the natural fibre nets but used for other purposes these days as the nets are now non- rotting artificial fibre. We looked in one shed which is now a museum. We finished off our trip with fish and chips, delicious and fresh. It then became quite misty and windy but we were off home anyway.
