Nant

The Prologue was held in Nant. The temperatures were in the high 30s and trying to keep in the shade taking on board liquid was an art in itself. Fortunately the courses were very short and not that technical.

My first control was just before the bakery. Dodging the customers and their baguettes was interesting as was the large mixer outside. Took it very steady as I have not done any urban orienteering since having knee problems. By the time we returned to the car it was like an oven registering 42 degrees as we drove back.
